Petron launches High Temperature Protection line for high-performance cars

In a move that delighted owners of high-performance cars around the Philippines, Petron recently introduced products scientifically formulated to address vehicle stress during extreme heat.  The exciting High Temperature Protection (HTP) line includes the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) Premium HTP, the Brake Fluid HTP DOT 4, and the Grease HTP Lithium Complex.

To match the exciting potential of the new HTP line, Petron gathered friends from the motoring industry, media and bloggers, and treated them to a fun afternoon of karting!

Hosted by the engaging Gelli Victor, the event took place on Feb. 2 at City Kart Racing in Circuit Makati. It was quite a fun-filled occasion, with a cool photowall and a delicious lunch kicking off the activities. Afterwards, a quick but enjoyable game was held, involving the Petron stickers available for free on Viber.

AVP for Greases and Lubes, Mr. Billy Centeno, was on hand as well to kick-off the event and welcome the guests. The spotlight then shifted to expert car enthusiast James Deakin for the full details of the exciting HTP products.

Janine Gutierrez, Petron’s ambassador latest for engine oils, also made a special appearance and delighted the audience with her automotive savvy and vehicular passion.

After a quick briefing, Janine waved James into the ceremonial first drive to whet everyone’s excitement. Then, the race was on! When the dust had settled and the engine noise had died down, the winners stood atop the podium.
