Juan Karlos Labajo Releases Composed Track "Demonyo" Autotelic Out with Third Single "Languyin"

Still in the cast of ABS-CBN’s “A Love to Last”, in which he plays aspiring musician Lucas Noble, MCA Music Artist Juan Karlos Labajo releases his second single “Demonyo” from his sophomore album “JKL”.

Composed by Juan Karlos himself, you will be amazed how the song is not really about evils but being opposites with lyrics like “Ikaw ay anghel na napadpad sa impyerno. Ako ang demonyong gagabay sa iyo. Pabalik sa langit. Habang tayo ay paakyat akoy napaibig.”

With this song, it’s clear that Juan Karlos has matured as a person, and that maturity is reflected in his songwriting.

         Juan Karlos says he started writing songs out of boredom, but he quickly fell in love with songwriting when he realized it was a great way to process his emotions. Every teenager needs an outlet, and Juan Karlos found that putting melodies and words together was his.

         He recently won this year’s MYX Music Award for Favorite Mellow Video for the single “Di Ka Man Lang Nagpaalam”, a song for his late mother.

         Meanwhile, band Autotelic will continue to make noise with their third single “Languyin” from their major label debut “Papunta Pabalik”. Fresh from the success of their previous singles “Gising” and “Laro” which experienced heavy airplay on radio stations and charted on radio and music video channels, the track is just in time for the summer season.

Nik Qistina Releases an Acoustic Version of Her First Single- Young Hearts (Tripped Ft. Darren Espanto)

Nik Qistina duets with Filipino – Canadian singer, Darren Espanto whose debuted album is now a certified platinum album. The two talented singers have teamed up to release a stripped down version of ‘Young Hearts’ through Universal Music Malaysia and estimated to be released on the 21st April 2017 on all digital music platform. ‘Young Hearts’, originally produced by Kieran Kuek of Universal Music Publishing, initially took the internet by storm, and has gathered more than 932,000 plays on Spotify, and 525,000 views in total on her VEVO channel.

I just felt the need to release an acoustic version of Young Hearts with someone who appreciates the song and I was honored to find out that Darren Espanto vibe to Young Hearts the same way I do. says Qistina. “After hearing Darren’s breakthrough track “Stuck”, I knew that Darren will be a perfect duet partner for my acoustic version”. The stripped down version of ‘Young Hearts’ took two months to complete and beautifully arranged by Francis Guevarra (A&R, Universal Music Philippines) targeted to reach acoustic fans and those who appreciates simple arrangement in a good song.
