Mabuhay Germany Event In BGC Last Week


German - Filipino Business Community Celebrates Mabuhay Germany 2015

German and Filipino businesses will hold their much-awaited annual Mabuhay Germany at the Bonofacio Global City this weekend, promising to showcase new and exciting German products, services and lifestyle experiences.

Was held last Sunday (Feb. 21-22) at the BGC High Street, Mabuhay Germany 2015 will once again give Filipinos a taste of German trade and culture.

Now on its seventh year, Mabuhay Germany is organized by the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GPCCI)in cooperation with the German Embassy, Goethe Institut and the German European School Manila.

More than 30 German companies from various industris will participate as exhibitors, sponsors and suppliers, offering hte perfect blend of business, culture and fun-filled family activities in one weekend.

The two-day event kicked off at 11:00AM with the opening ceremony with a marching band depicting a German Karneval, champagne toast at the Brandenburg Gate model.

Visitors also was able to connect with German businesses and find favorable opportunities through a joint forum that was organized and facilitated by the Goethe Institut and german Embassy titled "Tara Na Sa Germany - Learn German and Work in Germany!" followed by the Dual training forum

“More than a business and lifestyle exhibit, Mabuhay Germany™ is a celebration of six decades of friendship between Germany and the Philippines. Our strong presence in this country, represented by established companies in different industries, symbolize our unwavering commitment to support Filipinos through commerce and culture,” GPCCI General Manager Nadine Fund states.

The German community in the country is composed mostly of companies and organizations representing automotive, technology, shipping and logistics, airlines and support services, financial services, food, consumer goods, garments and tourism. Member companies are also engaged in major local businesses such as the business process outsourcing (BPO), manufacturing, power generation, and education.
