Victor Consunji Makes the Most of His Time

Victor Consunji Jr. is a real estate mogul, an adventure traveler, and a seasoned athlete who was the first Filipino to run the North Pole marathon. Above all, he is a dedicated husband to wife Maggie and a proud father to 7 year old son Connor.

Stemming from his father’s roots and now a board member of the mega construction company DMCI, Consunji has also set up his own construction and development enterprise, the VConsunji Group. His company’s biggest and most ambitious project so far is the M Residences, whose design was inspired by his travels and experiences as a family man and engineer. Family is an important consideration for the M Residences concept. Consunji says, “We provide homes to bridge the gap between work, family, and life in general. Living inside the city is very challenging; you deal with traffic, high cost of living and the ever progressing march towards miniaturization of living spaces. I provide real homes and the means to acquire them.”

Running one of the biggest development companies in the country is a feat, yet Consunji always manages to find time for his wife and son. Together, his family shares a passion for sports and explores as many places as they can together. He says, “Family time is important; little things matter. And I give them (family activities) the same or higher priority, as work meetings. I will not push off family time for other matters.”

Consunji says, as a family man, he has to strike a balance between family and work, and also find time for himself. “A balance is needed, or else you risk personal disaster. My personal view is to make sure I give all three parts of my life as much attention as I can. I feel that when you can satisfy all three, you live a life less stressful, more hopeful and, ultimately, happy.”

For Consunji, being a father is the greatest source of achievement, pride, and inspiration. Fatherhood has further reinforced the importance of time.

For fathers like Consunji who truly value time and want to spend as much of it with family while pursuing their career and other passions, a dependable wristwatch like the New TechnoMarine Grand Cruise–with Swiss components and an automatic movement–is just the right tool that helps him keep track of all that time in style. The watch has a power reserve of up to 41 hours and an accuracy rating of -20 seconds to +40 seconds per day under normal conditions. Along with a versatile design and two distinguishable models, with silicone strap and the other with a steel bracelet, this timepiece features water resistance of up to 200 meters.

TechnoMarine stores are located at Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Magnolia, Shangri-La Plaza, SM City Cebu, SM Lanang Premier Davao, SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, SM North Edsa, TriNoma, and Uptown Mall, BGC
