Negosyo Center Tanay and Negosyo Center Sampaloc collaborate with Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Mag-Ampon for the Livelihood Virtual Seminar

The Department of Trade and Industry – Rizal Provincial Office (DTI Rizal) through Negosyo Center Tanay and Negosyo Center Sampaloc-Tanay facilitated the Livelihood Virtual Seminar hosted by the Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Mag-Ampon, to talk about business and livelihood programs, held on April 12, 2021, via Google Meet and Facebook Live.

Intending to shape and promote entrepreneurial mindset among the participants, Mr. Bien Magpantay, Tanay Livelihood Development Center Coordinator, together with Business Counselors Karla Reynes, and Aryan F. Llamasares shared valuable information and insights on the topics of entrepreneurship, business and livelihood.

Business Counselor Reynes discussed the DTI Programs and Services, and 7Ms Way of Uplifting MSMEs. She reiterated to the participants that DTI has several programs and interventions such as the Youth Entrepreneurship Program that will equip existing and potential young entrepreneurs to make a difference in the market. Ms. Reynes encouraged young leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs to pursue their passion, especially if they have skills that they can use to start their own business. “Laging bukas ang Negosyo Center Tanay at Negosyo Center Sampaloc para sa consultation if you are planning to start a business. We will guide you.’’, she said.

While Business Counselor Llamasares discussed about starting your own business, including the advantages and disadvantages of doing a business, and the procedure of securing a business name registration and compliance for business permit from the Local Government.

Ths webinar was actively participated by 45 active youth members from the Barangay. Participants who attended this activity will receive information materials and kits from DTI Rizal and a hand soap made by TESDA Tanay.
