Unlock The City on Moovr’s Newest Rides and Improved Mobile App

Moovr is the simple solution to getting you ahead. Take charge of your own Mooves through the city and through life, one convenient ride at a time. Moovr’s newest electric-powered rides are available in expanded locations visible through their improved mobile app, making it easier for you to get where you’re going for the most affordable price in the city.

Moovr offers an economical alternative for your daily travels, allowing you to get to your destination for as low as P25. Being 100% cashless and self-serviced, you can use digital credits for seamless and affordable transportation. The app allows you to check real-time ride availability across stations in BGC, Mckinley Hill, and Makati where you can instantly rent a device, eliminating the need to navigate through traffic or wait for a ride. Simply open the app, locate the nearest device, and end your ride in multiple convenient locations in these cities.

Control your commute, manage your errands, get to school, or work at your own pace with Moovr’s newest rides available all over the city.

“We noticed the majority of our riders take long rides and we want to offer them a more comfortable riding experience. We looked at other cities in the world where micromobility has been successful, and adopted the same technology in our devices,” said Carlo Rombano, Head of Operations at Moovr.

Moovr brought devices used in first-world cities to Manila at a price point that’s accessible to Filipinos. Adapting to local consumer needs and demands.

“Our adaptability also extends to our app. With our latest update, we’ve applied comprehensive features that don’t just make every ride efficient but an enriching exploration,” added Shiela Raña, Head of Operations.

The new features include encrypted payments, which allow riders to save their details and top up with a single tap on a button, as well as an adaptive user interface that lets riders see parking areas, and vehicle details such as their availability, battery levels, and ride rates.

“At Moovr, we believe in redefining the way people move through their cities. Our commitment to innovation and user-centric design aims to inspire a sense of empowerment with every ride,” said Raña.

Moovr is committed to catering to your individual transportation needs. Last, January 13th, they launched two new ride options - the electric-powered bike and their upgraded e-scooters.

For the first time, Moovr’s bikes are going electric. This makes it easier to breeze through the city with less effort. The e-bikes feature a sturdy basket for quick errands, and are specifically designed for Filipinos. Meanwhile, the upgraded e-scooters also feature a sturdier base, and better suspension for bumpy roads and surfaces,  perfect for longer commutes, or simply riding around town for a breather.

These newest e-bikes and scooters are designed not only for efficiency but also to enhance the overall ease of unlocking the city. Whether it's breezing through traffic during the daily commute or leisurely cruising through the city streets, Moovr's new ride options provide an unparalleled level of convenience.

Women Make it Happen in Airspeed

National Women’s Month

There is no better time than National Women’s Month to highlight the ever-increasing role of women in shaping Philippine society in general, and the business world in particular.

In the Philippines’ male dominated corporate world, a woman named Rosemarie P. Rafael has been breaking stereotypes and challenging the big boys since the 1980s. In 1985, Mrs. Rafael founded Airspeed, one of the leading logistics solutions and express courier companies in the country. Airspeed is a company that reflects Ms. Rafael’s values and beliefs as a woman, a mother, and a leader. Being Airspeed’s Chairman and President and a true advocate of women, Ms. Rafael chose to empower women at Airspeed because she believes women are naturally nurturing and she knows that when people are supported and enabled, they can do great and impossible things.

These three women executives of Airspeed – together with the management team, envisioned to help propel the company to greater heights and, in the process, make the company better and reach success.

Anna Lyn Discaya is the new Chief Administrative Officer under Airspeed Group of Companies Holding Corp. In her new role, Ann will be in charge of managing and overseeing the company’s Administrative Group which comprises the Human Resources Team, Procurement Team, Security Group, Legal and Compliance Team, and Administrative Maintenance.

Claudette ‘Claude’ Lucasan-Canta is the new Chief Supply Chain Officer, and will oversee the supply chain solutions design, warehouse operational processes, distribution, procedures, and work process flow of all companies under the holdings group. She is tasked to align with different business unit heads on the requirements of prospects and accounts, as well as the review of onboarding processes of each account. Claude will also help define the goals and programs for each of the businesses operation units and review financial projections per cost modules for new and existing business.

Liza Fallar-Marquez, the Chief Information Technology Officer, leads the Management Information System Department. Liza has been with Airspeed for 23 years, and has made sure to establish and direct strategic long-term goals, policies and procedures for their information technology department. She leads the implementation of new IT Systems by adapting new technology platforms to improve the client experience, as well as monitor changes in the technology sector to discover ways the company can improve and develop its IT Infrastructure.

In closing off National Women’s Month, Airspeed is committed to pay tribute to females by entrusting them extraordinary roles as trailblazers and forerunners of change. In shining the spotlight on women, Airspeed is confident it can attain greater success for many more years to come.

MrSpeedy Gears Up to Empower the Filipino Entrepreneur

MrSpeedy Philippines, the fastest growing same-day delivery service in the country, is lowering down its rates to become the most affordable delivery partner for Metro Manila on-line sellers. True to their motto of empowering the Filipino Entrepreneur, MrSpeedy aims to support small on-line sellers with a reliable and affordable service to help them be competitive in the current trend of instant delivery.

"We see that the trend right now for online selling is instant delivery, but it is hard for small online businesses to afford this service. By slashing down our prices, our goal is to arm our local businesses to be more competitive, especially against the dominating giants out there," said MrSpeedy’s Country Manager Jason Gaguan.

"We believe that this is the age of the Filipino Entrepreneur and we want to be part of that economic revolution. In everything we do, we always ask ourselves: Paano 'to makakatulong mag-palaki ng negosyo sa isang Instagram, Facebook o Carousell seller?"

MrSpeedy focuses on three things that they found out is most important for small online businesses: Delivery Price, Customer Support and seamless Cash on Delivery.

With MrSpeedy's pricing at PHP6/km, it is now the most affordable same-day delivery service as it is 40% cheaper than its competitors in Metro Manila. Alongside its affordable pricing, MrSpeedy has invested heavily in its customer support both in technology and headcount to ensure that their clients are heard and assisted in every step of their delivery- even going as far as creating personal chat groups with their clients. Aside from this, the MrSpeedy Mobile App is very easy to use. Users just have to input the pick-up and delivery drop-off pin locations and input contact details for the said addresses, and they will be able to see the total delivery price – with no hidden charges. The simplicity of booking a delivery is what makes MrSpeedy’s service friendly to clients. To add to their online seller-centric approach is a Cash on Delivery service that boasts of a 12-24 hour remittance window. Since offering cash-on-delivery to their online stores, clients are pleased to note their businesses have gained an increase of up to 300%.

Asked about why online businesses should choose MrSpeedy versus other platforms, Gaguan answers, “Technology wise, we are very similar to our competitors, pero lumalamang kami in understanding what our customers need, nakikinig kasi kami. Very simple lang naman ang gusto namin, to give the cheapest price, mapadala ng mabilis ang package at sumagot kagad pag may concern ang customer at i-resolve instantly. We want things to be simple, we just want to be the best partner of small businesses in Manila.”
