How to Make Your Weekends Count

First Tip: PLAN SOMETHING

Whether it's a trip to the beach or a spa date with your BFF, make sure to actually PLAN something. You'll end up wasting your weekend doing nothing if you don't deliberately plan anything.

Second Tip: DON'T DRINK TOO MUCH

Although it might be tempting to drink on a Friday night, be mindful of the amount you actually consume. Alcohol can help you relax and unwind, but drinking too much might actually ruin your weekend. You don't want to spend your Saturday nursing a hangover and not doing anything, right? 

Third Tip: SPEND TIME WITH PEOPLE THAT MATTER

Weekdays almost often take us away from family and friends. Allot time to nurture relationships that are meaningful. 

Forth Tip: MAKE TIME TO ACCOMPLISH YOUR PERSONAL GOALS

Weekends are moments where you can practically do anything you want. If you want to learn a new language or try out a new activity, now is the perfect time. 

Fifth Tip: SPEND TIME WITH YOURSELF

Learn to detach yourself from the world-- stop checking your emails and work phones. Make sure to spend time with your thoughts and allow yourself some breathing room. Regular checks on the quality of your thoughts and feelings are best done during the weekends.
