Go USTe! Home Credit PH Advances Overall Wellness with Growling Tigers, Golden Tigresses Partnership

Home Credit Philippines (HCPH), the country’s leading consumer finance company, is broadening its impact by incorporating wellness and financial empowerment into the lives of more Filipinos.

As part of this advocacy, HCPH has teamed up with the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers and Golden Tigresses for UAAP Season 88, giving student-athletes and fans a platform that connects both sports excellence and smarter money choices.

The tie-up was formally announced during the Future Focus: Building Tomorrow Together event, underscoring HCPH’s intent to reach young audiences not just in the classroom but also in arenas where values of discipline, resilience, and responsibility thrive.

In another first, HCPH has partnered with Cignal TV, the country’s premier sports broadcaster, to enhance its brand presence in the most-watched sports events in the country. Through this tie-up, HCPH will be featured in UAAP Season 88 Men’s Basketball Conference and Cheer Dance Competition, and the PVL Reinforced Conference, all running from September to December 2025.

These collaborations strengthen HCPH’s connection with a next generation of Filipinos, many of whom are beginning to make independent financial decisions. By tapping into sports communities, the company aims to spark conversations about financial readiness while supporting a culture of health and well-being.

From financial empowerment to championing everyday well-being
Now on its 12th year in the Philippines, HCPH has served more than 12 million customers and partnered with 18,000 stores nationwide. Building on this scale, the company is expanding its purpose: from financial literacy to a more holistic advocacy that embraces physical, mental, social, and financial wellness.

“We have always been about enabling Filipinos to do more #ParaSaLife,” said Sheila Paul, Chief Marketing Officer of HCPH. “This year, we’re taking that commitment further by linking financial literacy with overall wellness. A rewarding life doesn’t stop at financial security—it’s also about having the health and support system to sustain it. When both come together, people are better equipped to make meaningful and smarter choices for their future.”

Wellness as a movement
This push has already taken shape in large-scale community events. Earlier this year, HCPH staged its inaugural Takbo #ParaSaLife 2025, attracting more than 2,300 runners—from athletes and families to kids. Originally started as a customer appreciation initiative, the run now serves as a platform for HCPH to champion its advocacy for holistic wellness, a passion the company continues to drive forward.

Building on this momentum, HCPH is making Takbo #ParaSaLife 2026 bigger and bolder in partnership with the country’s premier race organizer, RunRio. Together, they are set to stage a two-city event expected to gather more than 8,000 runners, with the Manila leg on February 1 at the MOA Grounds in Pasay City and the Cebu leg on March 29 at Citi de Mare in Cebu City.

Wellness rooted in financial literacy
At the heart of these efforts is HCPH’s belief that wellness is most sustainable when paired with financial confidence. By building awareness early—especially among students, young professionals, and families—the company hopes to empower Filipinos to live healthier, more secure, and more fulfilling lives.

“For us, wellness is not just about fitness or finances,” Paul added. “It’s about creating opportunities for every Filipino to live fully, freely, and meaningfully. That’s the true spirit of #ParaSaLife.”

Every Day, 5,000 Filipinos Bring Home Smartphones with Home Credit

Taguig City, Philippines – Home Credit Philippines (HCPH), the country’s  leading consumer finance company, has helped more than 12 million Filipinos access essential  products and services, from smartphones and appliances to mobility and insurance.

At its recent event, Future Focus: Building Tomorrow Together, HCPH revealed that it has  financed 2.5 million smartphones since the start of 2024—an average of 5,000 devices per day  already by August 2025. The company also reported strong growth across other product  categories, underscoring how far it has come in just over a decade, evolving from a small retail  booth to a nationwide financial partner trusted by millions.

From 33 Customers to 12 Million Loyal Customers

Since opening its first booth in 2013 with only 33 customers, HCPH has grown into the country’s  leading consumer finance provider. Today, it reaches millions nationwide through 18,000 partner  stores and a dedicated team of 10,000 sales associates.

“Our journey has always been about empowering Filipinos to achieve more,” said Puneet Suneja,  Chief Sales Officer of HCPH. “From 33 customers from our first day to 12 million we’ve served  today, every milestone reflects our mission of making modern living more attainable—whether  through a smartphone, a home appliance, or mobility solutions.”

Premium Smartphones Made Affordable for Every Filipino

iPhones remain the top choice for many Home Credit users looking to upgrade to a premium  device. Financing for these smartphones reached ₱10 billion in 2024 and is expected to hit ₱20  billion by the end of 2025—double the previous year’s volume.

Enhancing Comfort at Home, on the Road

HCPH also plays a role in modernizing Filipino households. Refrigerators, televisions, and air  conditioners remain top choices among financed items.
During Home Credit’s peak season, the company financed an average of 700 refrigerators, 1,400  televisions, and 1,100 air conditioners per day, highlighting strong demand for comfort and  convenience at home.

Mobility, on the other hand, has emerged as a rapidly growing category in the Philippines.  According to motorcycledata.com, the country ranks as the fifth largest motorcycle market in the  world, highlighting strong local demand.
Recognizing this trend, HCPH makes motorcycles and e-bikes more accessible through flexible  financing options, enabling more Filipinos to enjoy convenient and affordable mobility. Since the  start of 2024, HCPH has financed close to 70,000 units motorcycles and e-bikes amounting to  ₱4.5 billion, providing customers with not just transportation, but also greater independence in  managing work, family, and leisure.

All-around Consumer Protection, with Every Purchase
Beyond financing, HCPH also offers Home Credit Protect, a comprehensive program designed to  give customers peace of mind without added financial strain. Users can choose between.

Borrower Protection, which covers accidents, life, illness, hospital cash, installment waiver,  unlimited online consultations, and protection for borrowers and their families; or Device  Protection, which safeguards against accidental liquid damage, offers extended warranty, fast  door-to-door repair or replacement, and like-for-like device replacement.

“For as low as ₱3 a day, the same price as a pandesal, customers can protect their purchases,  extend product life, and secure coverage for themselves and their families. With Home Credit  Protect, they don’t just safeguard their devices; they gain confidence knowing they and their loved  ones are covered,” Suneja explained.

As of August 2025, Home Credit has already approved and released over ₱1.75 billion in claims,  with nearly 70,000 devices repaired or replaced under Home Credit Protect, showing strong  customer trust.

Driving Economic Growth

These achievements underscore the vital role consumer finance plays in the country’s economic  and digital growth. Smartphone adoption, appliance upgrades, and mobility access fuel  productivity, improve quality of life, and strengthen the Philippines’ position as one of Southeast  Asia’s most dynamic consumer markets.
“With our scale and expertise, Home Credit is not only serving individual customers but also  contributing to economic activity,” said Sheila Paul, Chief Marketing Officer of HCPH. “We are on  track to exceed last year’s performance and will continue supporting a new generation of Filipinos  seeking access to technology, comfort, and convenience in everyday life.”

KASAMA sa Pangarap: Stories of Hope and Hard Work from Home Credit’s Everyday Heroes

At Home Credit Philippines, every dream—big or small—can become reality through affordable installment plans and the dedication of our Sales Associates (SAs). Whether it’s a new phone for school, a motorcycle for work, or a smart TV for the family, our SAs are the friendly faces behind every approved application, always #ReadytoHelp. Dressed in their signature red shirts with the smiley logo, Home Credit’s Sales Associates greet customers with warm smiles and expert guidance, helping Filipinos find the best deals and own what they need, responsibly and confidently.
In our fourth #HCSpecials video, called KASAMA, we highlight the daily life of Sales Associates and celebrate how they are always #ReadyToHelp Filipinos reach their life goals.
This feature shares the inspiring stories of three top-performing Sales Associates: Jerryco Malvarosa, Kimberly Boiser, and Joebeth Rizaldo—proving that with dedication, passion, and heart, basta KASAMA si Home Credit, goals are always within reach.
The Dedicated Dreamer
Every Home Credit Sales Associate (SA) shares one mission: to make it easier for Filipinos to get what they need through fast, simple, and affordable installment plans. Take Jerryco Malvarosa, for example—he goes the extra mile to ensure his customers understand every step of the installment process, helping them bring home what they need, hassle-free.
Before joining Home Credit, Jerryco was one of the many Filipinos who lost their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic. Those three months without work tested his resilience as he struggled to pay rent, utilities, and put food on the table. But his determination never wavered, and everything changed when he became an SA at Home Credit.
Driven to rebuild his life, Jerryco arrives early at work, ensures all marketing materials are in place, and patiently explains Home Credit’s installment products and payment options. One day, a loyal customer thanked him for helping them get appliances for their home with ease and at 0% interest.
Naalala ko, may customer na nagsabing malaking tulong si Home Credit noong naghahanap sila ng appliances para sa kanilang bahay. Bukod sa 0% interest, mabilis din ang transaction dahil existing client sila at good payer pa.” [I remember a customer saying that Home Credit was a big help when they were looking for appliances for their home. Not only was there 0% interest, but the transaction was also fast because they were an existing client and a good payer.]

Now at 39, Jerryco is proud that his role as an SA helped him build savings and start a small business, transforming his life for the better. [We really can’t avoid challenges, especially when it comes to money. But thankfully, Home Credit is there: easy to approach, a hassle-free application, and a reliable partner in times of need.]

A Father that Keeps on Giving
Known for his genuine care and patience, Joebeth Rizaldo is the kind of Home Credit Sales Associate who goes the extra mile to help customers bring home something special for their loved ones.
A devoted father and husband to his two-year-old son and a wife three months pregnant, Joebeth shares the same dream as many Filipino dads—to give his family the best life possible. Through hard work and determination, he was able to buy a motorcycle, upgrade it to a tricycle, and renovate their home.
One moment that stands out in his journey as an SA was helping Lorena, a mother who purchased an iPhone 13 as a graduation gift for her daughter’s first-ever phone. That simple act reminded Joebeth of his own dream to give back to his father.
“I remember my father wanted a ₱4,500 watch but didn’t buy it because it was too expensive. I promised myself I’d get him one someday. Thanks to my job as an SA, I bought him a watch worth twice as much. Others may think it’s simple, but for me, it’s a big achievement.”
A week after Lorena’s purchase, she came back with a basket of fruits to thank Joebeth. “But her smile alone was enough to remind me why I do this job,” he shared.
For Joebeth, life has come full circle. Despite the challenges of meeting monthly targets, he stayed committed and grew from a shy newcomer to a confident SA—always #ReadytoHelp more customers, like Lorena, make their dreams come true with Home Credit by their side.

From Small Seller to Big Marketer
With a smile that radiates positivity, Kimberly Boiser helps every Home Credit customer feel supported, ensuring they bring home what they need with confidence and ease.
“Pinakatumatak talaga sa akin is noong may bumalik sa store para magpasalamat kasi nagamit nila ‘yung cellphone na in-apply nila. Super happy na nakatulong ako at naka-receive pa ng referrals dahil satisfied siya sa service ko,” she shared. [What really stuck with me the most was when a customer came back to the store to say thank you because they were able to use the cellphone they applied for. I was super happy that I was able to help, and I even received referrals because they were satisfied with my service.]
Kimberly’s journey began humbly as a tindera selling office supplies just to make ends meet. When she lost that job, she faced the challenge of finding a new way to support her family. But even without work, she never lost her drive.
Just like how she pushed herself to reach her daily targets as a tindera, Kimberly seized the opportunity to become a Home Credit Sales Associate, a decision that changed her life. From being a small-time seller, the now 31-year-old Kimberly grew into a confident SA who sees her role as more than just a job. For her, it’s a chance to meet people from all walks of life and help turn their plans into reality.
Now with Home Credit for nearly eight years, Kimberly is proud of how far she’s come and grateful for the many stories she’s been a part of.
“Dati, maliit na tindera lang ako, pero ngayon isa na akong sales agent sa isang malaking kumpanya tulad ng Home Credit. Sobrang nagpapasalamat ako dahil hindi lang gumaling ang marketing skills ko, naging better version pa ako ng sarili ko.” [Before, I was just a small-time vendor, but now I'm a sales agent at a big company like Home Credit. I'm very thankful because not only did my marketing skills improve, but I also became a better version of myself.]
Home Credit’s Project KASAMA is a powerful reminder that no matter where we come from, we all strive to live with purpose and uplift those around us. Behind every customer interaction is a story of resilience, hope, and the drive to turn everyday moments into meaningful milestones. Through the eyes and efforts of our dedicated Sales Associates, we see how one installment plan can spark a life-changing journey. With heart, hustle, and a shared mission, Home Credit continues to stand beside every Filipino, para sa pangarap, para sa pamilya, para sa life

Home Credit, SIGMA Empower Cavite Youth through Muay Thai

Taguig City, Philippines | July 30, 2025 – Home Credit Philippines, the country’s leading consumer finance company, has successfully concluded its second year of partnership with the Self-Defense & Independent Guardian Martial Arts (SIGMA) sports clinic, culminating in a Muay Thai Summer Sports Clinic.  In a move to foster discipline, sportsmanship, and community engagement among the youth, the program empowered 120 children aged 8 to 12 years from Bacoor, Cavite and nearby areas for a summer filled with learning and discipline through the ancient martial art of Muay Thai.
This initiative is one of the pillars of Alagang Home, Home Credit’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) program which extends the company's commitment beyond financial services to actively giving back to the community, with a special focus on youth development.
As the program concluded, children demonstrated their newly acquired Muay Thai skills in presence of their parents, coaches, and special guests during a graduation ceremony on June 7. Certificates of completion were awarded by Home Credit and SIGMA representatives.

Muay Thai, the national sport of Thailand, offers a wealth of benefits for its young practitioners that extend far beyond the ring. "We are very grateful that Home Credit has once again given us this opportunity. I am very happy that the children are enjoying the training and learning a lot. The number one lesson is self-defense, but the most important is instilling discipline in the youth," John Derick Ignes, owner of the Muay Thai Sports Clinic, emphasized this holistic approach.
"Ang magandang naidulot ng Muay Thai sa mga anak ko ay natutulo sila ng self-defense. Bukod doon,  nagkakaroon sila ng physical fitness activity. Naiiwasan na rin nila ang mga gadget kung saan natutuon ang kanilang atensyon. Dito, natututo sila ng discipline,” shared Angel Rubi Cruz, a parent.
Many parents highlighted how martial arts foster confidence and resilience in their children.
As graduates proudly received their certificates, the event highlighted the power of community collaboration. Through Alagang Home initiatives, Home Credit demonstrates its commitment to supporting Filipinos and fostering a stronger, more confident youth.
“We believe in giving back, especially to the youth who will shape our future. As we continue to serve millions of Filipinos with accessible financial services, we’re equally committed to serving communities through sustainable, values-driven programs,” Portia La-ab, HCPH ESG Lead concludes.
The Muay Thai Summer Sports Clinic is just one of many Alagang Home initiatives that aim to enrich lives, empower communities, and promote environmental positivity. With more programs nationwide, Home Credit continues to be a trusted partner in building a brighter future for the next generation.

Home Credit Philippines Makes Pride Month 2025 Truly Makulay at Home

Taguig City, Philippines | July 17, 2025 – Home Credit Philippines (HCPH), the country’s leading consumer finance company, continues to champion a diverse and inclusive workplace where every individual is valued and empowered, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. In line with this commitment, HCPH celebrated Pride Month 2025 with vibrant and meaningful activities that fostered genuine empowerment and visibility for every shade of pride.
The celebration centered on the theme Makulay ang PRIDE at HOME #AtHomeKaDito and was led by the Pride Club, HCPH’s employee resource group for LGBTQIA+ employees and allies. Launched in 2022, the Pride Club serves as the official representative body dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) within the company.

Celebrating every color of Pride at Home
HCPH’s Pride Month festivities opened with a general assembly for Pride Club members in May, bringing together about 200 employees. The event introduced the new set of officers, showcased the club’s milestones, and outlined plans for the year ahead.  Additionally, I am Remarkable Workshop was conducted by Chris Eugenio, board member and advisor for local LGBTQ+ nonprofit Philippine Financial & Inter-Industry Pride (PFIP), inspired employees to embrace authenticity and lead with Pride.

Following the kickoff, the Pride Club rolled out interactive initiatives to drive engagement and further support HCPH’s DE&I commitment. Among these were Pose with Pride, a mirror installation at the office that encouraged employees to reflect on their Pride stories, and Express Your Pride, a social media invitation to employees to update their profile photos using a dedicated blast frame and share their journeys on Facebook and Instagram.

During discussions of Joie Cortina and Arjhay Puod at HCPH Pride Club Townhall

The highlight of the celebration was the Pride Town Hall, anchored on Makulay ang Pakikibaka. Makulay ang Pagkilala. Makulay ang Pag-ibig. The event featured discussions on advancing LGBTQIA+ rights, inclusion, and advocacy, led by guest speakers Portia La-ab, TQACE Head and ESG Lead at HCPH; Joie Cortina, a queer Filipina feminist researcher and activist; and Arjhay Puod, a human and trans rights advocate.

The town hall also featured the search for the new Pride Club Ambassador. Six employees from various departments showcased their advocacies, talents, and personal stories, culminating in the selection of this year’s Pride Club Ambassador.

More than 200 HCPH employees marching during the LOV3LABAN Pride PH Festival 2025
The celebration concluded with HCPH’s participation in the LOV3LABAN Pride PH Festival 2025 at the University of the Philippines Diliman, where 200 employees from Pangasinan, Cavite, and the National Capital Region joined over 407,000 marchers across the country calling for equality.

“Our Pride Month celebration reflects what Home Credit stands for—a workplace where everyone feels safe, valued, and empowered to thrive. Pride Month is not just a celebration, but a reminder of our commitment to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion every day. Through the Pride Club, we will continue to foster genuine empowerment and visibility for the LGBTQIA+ community and help build a culture where everyone feels at home, every voice is heard, and every shade of Pride is celebrated,” said Portia La-ab, HCPH ESG Lead

A true Home for all
Home Credit’s commitment to DE&I goes beyond month-long celebrations. DE&I is deeply embedded in the company’s culture, shaping policies, programs, and everyday practices that create a workplace where everyone feels safe, valued, and empowered. Guided by the belief that No Small Roles, Everyone is Important, the company works to ensure that employees—regardless of background, gender identity, or orientation—find belonging and purpose.

At the core of this commitment are progressive policies designed to meet the diverse needs of employees. These include enabling eligible workers to enroll same-sex partners as dependents in medical benefits, offering wellness leaves, and providing gender-neutral restrooms across office spaces. HCPH also undergoes regular assessments, such as the Gender Equality Assessment, Results, and Strategies (GEARS) evaluation, to help identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities in its people strategies and programs.

Beyond internal initiatives, Home Credit actively partners with organizations like the Philippine Financial & Inter-Industry Pride, the Philippine LGBT Chamber of Commerce, and the Philippine Business Coalition for Women Empowerment. These collaborations help the company align with best practices and strengthen its DE&I efforts.
